If you squint (ie. dim the light by half closing your eyes) you’ll see a new image appearing like the spectator is in the room as I was. I deliberately chose to avoid going too far in details and keep it fresh, I don’t like hyperrealism, it kills the emotion for me but each to his own.
Technically: pastels (Senelier and Faber Castel) on acid free brown paper. Tough materials. The pastel has that optical quality I love, it’s fresh and vivid :).
